Judge Carmen Rogers graduated from the University of British Columbia with her law degree in 1989 and was called to the B.C. Bar in 1990. Share articled at Clark Wilson before heading off to Ontario to practice with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General.
She moved back to BC in 1994 and joined the Ministry of Justice as Crown counsel. Her work with the Crown has included prosecution of all types of cases in both Provincial and Supreme Courts in administration, charge approval, wiretap agency, Crown and police training and appeal work.
Judge Rogers is a dedicated member of the CBA and has held many positions, including executive committee chair, member of the Judicial Advisory Committee and member of the Legal Aid Committee.
