Friendly Reminders

Court Orders: All orders being submitted for entry to the Supreme Court must have a backing sheet.  This is so that the court knows who has submitted the order.  If you wish for Dye & Durham to pick up and return your orders to you (that you have submitted directly to the court), please note us as your agent on the backing sheet.  Any orders we have submitted for you, we will return automatically when they are available. Probate: Further to Supreme Court Civil Rule 25-2, where notice of an application for an estate grant (i.e. probate application) is required, such notice must be provided at least 21 days before the application is made.  Where notice is provided by e-mail, fax or other electronic means, an affidavit of delivery in Form P9 must be completed.  Please note that Form P9 has been amended to include the date of delivery.  Kindly esnure your precedents are updated to relflect this change. Family Action Searches: If you would like us to obtain documents for you with respect to a family proceeding, the registry requires we provide an original letter of authorization from you.
